Dr. Karoly Molnar (Rector of Budapest University of Technology and Economics), Mr. Sandor Matyus (Representative of Hungarian Trade Office), Prof. Dezso Benedek (Director of the UGA Asian Language Programs) and Mr. Istvan Varga (Head of Agrinet Bt., Budapest) came to CNST for mutual technical cooperation. Dr. Peng and Dr. Chang, director and Deputy director of CNST, made a presentation of the review of CNST for the special guests.

Taiwan Nano Tech 2005 (updated: 2005-03-01)

Taiwan's nano- technology industry is very promising. Industry expert Alan MacDiarmid, a 2002 Nobel Prize winner, believes that Taiwan's nanotechnology research and development is very competitive compared with Europe and Japan, and therefore can possibly become the "semiconductor island" and also the "nanotechnology island" in the nearest future. Involving with University of Ulster and Queen's University Belfast, Nanotec NI is a world-class centre for the design, fabrication, characterisation and commercial exploitation of nanotechnology engine for new wealth creation.
